The maximum capacity inside the barn is 290 guests, including the bridal party. The main reception area in the upper level of the barn seats 200 guests. We can seat an additional 70 guests just outside the reception area on the steel deck or in the lower level of the barn. Optional Table Layouts

Yes, when the contract is signed, we require a 1/3 for deposit. Nine months prior to the event, 1/3 of the remaining fee will be due. The final installment of 1/3 is required 90 days prior to the event.

To reserve a date, email us at jrsbarn@gmail.com with the date you would like to book, if it is still available. Please include a backup date in the event your preferred date is unavailable. It is not required, but we highly encourage you to visit JR’s Barn prior to booking your date. To request a tour, please visit our tours page. We cannot reserve a date without a signed contract and deposit.

Good question! We believe the average budget for couples getting married at JR’s Barn is $15,000-$20,000. This amount is for all wedding expenses (venue, caterer, bar, dress, DJ, photographer, flowers, etc.).

No, we want your day to be special and exclusive to you. JR’s Barn only hosts one wedding per day.

We only host one wedding per day, so our fee remains the same whether you have your ceremony, reception, or both at JR’s Barn.

We allow sparklers outside of the barn on the gravel. Absolutely NO fireworks or flames are permitted inside the barn.

Yes, vehicles may be left in our parking lot overnight. We ask that you please retrieve them no later than Noon the following day.

Alcohol service ends at 10:45pm and the music concludes at 11pm.

No, but we do have a large selection of battery operated candles that you are welcome to use from our Something Borrowed Room.

You may start decorating at 8am on the day of your wedding (unless prior arrangements are made).

Yes, we absolutely love live music and have enough power Upstairs or out in The Peaceful Garden to sustain it.

Of course! We love dogs! However, we do request the dog be leashed or kenneled and someone be assigned to care for them other than the bride and groom. We do not allow animals, other than service animals, in our indoor spaces or near food.

The barn is not climate controlled. During the cooler months, we have optional heaters that can be used during the event. The fee for the heaters is based on the amount of diesel fuel and/or propane usage. Typically, this ranges from $140-$200.
All of our doors and windows are operational which provides a nice breeze during the warmer months.

Yes, we have a handicap accessible ramp to the upper level of the barn and our bathrooms are also handicap accessible.

You bet we have lawn games! Please feel free to bring any additional ones that you want.

We ask that everything be removed from those two rooms by 7pm. This helps you, so at the end of the night you’re not scrambling to find your things.

Yes, you will need to supply all paper products and cups for social hour if you are bringing in the beverages and snacks. Also, you or your caterer will need to provide paper products for your desserts. We highly recommend the small bottles of water for less waste.

No. Ice is available for purchase by the bag at the barn.
