Wedding planning doesn’t have to rest entirely on your shoulders. Our experienced event team is here to help carry the load and ensure your day runs smoothly from start to finish.

From the moment you tour JR’s Barn until the end of your wedding day, our team is available to support you with practical tools, guidance, and hands-on assistance. We are truly here to help on your wedding day.

Who is the Event Team and what do they do?

  • Event Team support from your initial tour through the conclusion of your event.
  • Assistance with greeting and directing guests to the appropriate areas.
  • Beverage service, head table and honored guest service, and dessert table assistance.
  • Clearing tables after the meal and removing extra tables and chairs to prepare the dance floor.
  • Set-up and take-down of lawn games.
  • Packing up decorations and handling garbage removal.

Our event team is available to assist with any issues or situations that may arise during your celebration. They will also take down tables and chairs at the end of the night — all with the goal of helping your day run smoothly and stress-free.

Who Else Helps With Day-Of Coordinating?

Every couple is supported by a dedicated Lead Team Member who serves as your main point of contact throughout the planning process and on your wedding day.

Your Lead Team Member will be in contact with you from day one, helping prepare for your wedding day. They assist with coordination and planning and act as a trusted guide throughout the process.

What do they help with?

  • Answering follow-up questions after booking and helping you complete your online planner.
  • Assisting with vendor recommendations and communicating expectations.
  • Leading walkthrough tours with family and preparing decor using Share Shed items.
  • Directing and leading the wedding rehearsal.
  • Working with you personally to understand and execute your vision, including decor guidance.
  • Directing foot traffic and guiding wedding party members (for example, making sure groomsmen are where they need to be).

Meet our Team Leads

Renae Groskreutz (Head Team Lead)

Renae is the “R” of JR’s Barn. Her passions include hosting gatherings, riding Harleys with her family, and traveling. She truly desires to make every wedding day stress-free and ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

Amanda Graham

Amanda is Renae’s eldest daughter. She is married and a mom of four. Her passions include running, camping with her family, videography, and (of course) coffee. Amanda has a calming presence and specializes in helping brides feel relaxed while quickly solving any issues that may arise throughout the wedding day.
